Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) and advanced 3-D imaging has already changed the field of Dentistry and now it is widely considered the future of Upper Cervical Chiropractic. The Upper Cervical spine is one of the most complex joints in the human body, therefore it takes advanced imaging to analyze this region accurately. Infrared Thermography
Thermography is an FDA-approved procedure using medical technology to capture an infrared image of any body part. It is used to detect any thermal abnormalities present and evaluate the health of the body. We utilize Thermography to read heat produced on the base of the neck to produce infrared rays and create a thermographic image. This image allows visualization of the nervous system and Brainstem to help determine if an adjustment is needed.
Once an adjustment has been made, you will receive a post-thermographic evaluation. This procedure is a non-invasive, safe, effective screening procedure used here at Upper Spine Knoxville every visit to monitor response to treatment.
Zero Gravity Resting Chairs
Once you’ve received an adjustment, we bring you to our relaxation room to experience our Human Touch’s Zero Gravity Recliner. Initially inspired by N.A.S.A.’s Skylab Orbital Station and developed for the use of astronauts, the Zero Gravity Recliners place the body in a natural posture that fosters a weightless position, correctly aligning the vertebrae and enhancing circulation.

These chairs are designed to provide the proper support to maintain your adjustment and reduce tension in your muscles that may trigger pain, discomfort, or stress.
